Rick Ross has escalated rap’s civil war by releasing a response diss to Drake in which he criticizes his supposed surgeries, racial insecurity, label prospects, and more.
However, one of the most prominent lines claimed that the OVO mogul had filed a cease and desist letter to French Montana. “You sent the police, n***a, hatin’ on my dog project,”
Rozay stated on the cut following the claim, and it is crucial to remember that this is still supposition because French has not commented on it as of press time. As a result, fans began to speculate as to what this letter could’ve meant, and the prevailing conclusion is that it was because of a song or verse that didn’t make it onto his most recent album, Mac & Cheese 5.
Furthermore, some fans believe this is an allusion to a leaked music named “Big Pun” that allegedly featured Drake. In fact, rumors circulated that this song would be on French Montana’s next project when a clip appeared in May of 2023 before a complete release in December of that year, There was also speculation that Metro Boomin created it. Of course, this is highly fascinating given Metro’s ongoing fight with Drizzy. However, it would most likely have gone unnoticed if not for the recent circumstances.
Drake’s Leaked Verse On French Montana’s “Splash Brothers”:
Looks like French Montana’s song “Splash Brothers,” which initially featured Drake and Rick Ross, may be the track Ross was referring to when he claimed Drake sent French a cease-and-desist letter.

On the other hand, the most widely accepted explanation regarding this claimed cease and desist letter is that it is about the track “Splash Brothers” from Mac & Cheese 5. While this single does appear on the album with appearances from Lil Wayne and, strangely, Rick Ross, it was allegedly planned to be on French Montana’s last album and with a Drake feature instead of Tunechi.
It makes more sense if this is why the Maybach Music Group executive is interested in this track rather than the unreleased song “Big Pun.” In addition, he would have better firsthand experience of it.
Meanwhile, we’re wondering if this means the Moroccan-American musician will have to “pick a side” or if he’d like to keep out of it. He and the 6ix God have great cooperation and wonderful memories to look back on, and it appeared that everything was fine between them. We’ll see what else happens with this in the coming future.
